We design, manufacture and install bespoke and standardised pump packages for water utilities and building services. Everything is done in-house at our UK facility, from initial concept through to final delivery.

Most booster set manufacturers start with a catalogue. We start with a conversation.
Our team works with design consultants, contractors and water utilities from the earliest stages of a project. When specifications get complex, we are often the first call.
We are independent, working with Grundfos, Lowara, Wilo, KSB, Sulzer, Flygt and others, selecting the right equipment for each application. And because we fabricate everything in-house, we can adapt. A manifold that needs to be 11mm longer is not a problem. This is what we do.

A century in water infrastructure
Pillinger name has been associated with water pumping equipment for almost 100 years. In 2026, we mark the centenary of the first Pillinger installation.
Our manufacturing facility
If you can draw it, we can build it
Our Merstham headquarters brings design, fabrication and assembly under one roof. This is a working factory, not a sales office with a warehouse. Purpose-built and fully owned, giving us the confidence to invest in equipment most competitors cannot justify.
Fabrication
Laser cutting, pressing, welding and finishing. We use 316L stainless steel as standard and generate our own nitrogen on-site for cleaner cuts and reduced environmental impact.
Assembly
Mechanical and electrical assembly on the factory floor. Pumps, valves, manifolds, control panels and instrumentation are fitted and wired as a complete package, ready for connection on site.
Testing
Every unit is pressure tested, electrically tested and inspected before dispatch. Full documentation and test certificates are provided as standard.

The people behind the pumps
We are a team of designers, fabricators, installers and service technicians based across two UK locations: our headquarters and factory in Merstham, Surrey, and a regional office in Axminster, Devon.
When we acquired the Pillinger pumping division in 2003, we brought across experienced staff with decades of water industry knowledge. That expertise has been passed on and built upon. The people who design your system are the same people who answer your questions, and often the same people who trained the technicians installing it.

Who we work with
From Kew Gardens to The Ritz
Our water utility work includes projects for most of the UK water authorities and their associated partners, covering AMP programmes, WINEP and ongoing maintenance. We have been trusted to help develop technical specifications that set the standard for the sector.
In construction building services, we supply pump packages to some of the UK's most recognisable buildings and developments. Recent projects include Kew Gardens, The Ritz Hotel, and the prestigious Embassy Gardens development.
