Bespoke booster sets
Made to measure, not off the shelf
Most booster set manufacturers sell from a catalogue. We start with a conversation.
Need a manifold to terminate at a specific height? Connections sized to match existing pipework? A control panel mounted in a specific location due to maintenance issues? Our in-house fabrication means we can adapt without delays or third-party complications.
We work with Lowara, Grundfos, Wilo, KSB and other leading pump manufacturers, selecting the right equipment for each application, rather than pushing a single brand. Variable speed inverter drives on each pump come as standard, not as an upgrade.

Booster set applications
Where booster sets are used
With UK water companies under increasing regulatory pressure to reduce network leakage, pressure management within the mains network is widely used to help control losses. As a result, developers and building owners are increasingly required to ensure adequate water pressure is maintained within their systems. This is typically achieved through the integration of booster pump sets and break tanks designed to deliver consistent pressure and flow across all demand conditions.

Booster sets range
From single pump to multi-pump systems

The EV range
Each pump's inverter handles its own control logic independently, with common volt-free contacts brought out to a terminal box. The system provides aggregated status signals (such as general run or fault) rather than detailed per-pump information, resulting in simpler wiring and reduced panel complexity. Sequencing or operational changes are made individually at each inverter rather than centrally.

The AV range
A centralised control panel, typically incorporating a PLC, manages the operation of all pumps from a single point. Each pump and condition is represented by individual volt-free contacts, providing granular monitoring, control and fault indication. This enables duty/standby rotation, cascade control, alarm management and system interlocking, and supports integration with BMS or SCADA systems. Although it requires more complex wiring and greater panel space than the EV arrangement, it delivers significantly enhanced diagnostics, scalability and operational flexibility.

CAT5 booster sets
For applications where backflow protection is required, our CAT5 booster sets combine a break tank with an integrated pump system, providing full compliance with water regulations within high-risk environments.

Bespoke configurations
For complex or unusual applications, we design and build to your exact specification. From idea to build, we’ve got it covered.

Combination booster and tank
Our packaged systems combine a break tank and booster set on a single base frame, saving plant room space and simplifying installation. Available in standard or bespoke configurations, they incorporate either our EV or AV Series of booster sets.
