Bespoke stainless steel standpipes
Built in-house as standard
All standpipes are fabricated at our UK facility using stainless steel. A 3-way valve enables the operator to open the flow through the standpipe and once the task is complete, closing the valve and removing the hose allows the standpipe to self-drain, removing the need for trace heating. For ease of installation, the pipework assembly within is height adjustable. Fabricating in-house means we are not dependent on third-party supply. Lead times are controlled, and non-standard configurations are not a problem.

Where our standpipes are used
Standpipes are used across a range of areas within sewage and water treatment works, including storm tanks, sludge handling, chemical delivery and inlet works. Stainless steel is the preferred material in these environments; it resists the chlorides, acids and aggressive substances present in wastewater, handles high pressure and extreme temperatures. It also outlasts plastic in areas exposed to direct sunlight.
