EV Pressure Booster Set
The KGN Pillinger EV Pressure Booster Sets are designed to transfer and boost clean (potable) water in domestic, commercial and industrial water systems where reliable pressure and energy-efficient operation are essential.
The EV range utilises integrated variable speed drive (VSD) pump technology, enabling precise pressure control by automatically adjusting pump speed in response to system demand. This ensures consistent outlet pressure, reduces energy consumption and minimises mechanical stress on system components.
EV Pressure Booster Sets are supplied as fully packaged systems, incorporating pumps, control equipment, pressure vessels and pipework mounted on a common base frame for ease of installation and long-term reliability.

Design & Operation
EV booster sets comprise multiple identical pumps arranged in parallel, each fitted with an integrated VSD. The system responds dynamically to changes in demand, increasing or reducing pump speed as required to maintain the desired system pressure.
Pressure vessels are incorporated to supply initial demand and stabilise pressure, allowing the pumps to operate smoothly and efficiently. Automatic duty rotation ensures balanced pump usage and improved service life.
