Design & Construction
The pedestal is engineered for strength and stability:
- Fabricated from stainless steel isometric tube
- Welded to an 8 mm thick baseplate with supporting gussets
- Designed for secure fixing to a suitable on-site foundation
Pipework and connections include:
- 316L stainless steel pipework throughout
- DN25 PN16 flanged connection for installation interface
- Line-size lever ball isolation valve
- Braided stainless steel flexible hose connection to the reel
This ensures corrosion resistance and long-term performance in demanding environments.
Hose Reel Specification
- Spring-rewind hose reel
- ¾" hose rated to 103 bar
- Supplied with wash gun rated at 75 l/min and coupling components
- Suitable for air and water applications

Optional Trace Heating
An optional trace heating system is available to protect against freezing conditions:
- Covers the hose reel and feed pipework to 200 mm above ground level
- Includes an additional 1 m trace heating cable for site installation
- Controlled via an IP65 thermostat mounted on the pedestal
- Powered from a single-phase mains isolation switch
- Electrical components rated IP65 and protected within a stainless steel enclosure
