AV Pressure Booster Set
The KGN Pillinger AV Pressure Booster Sets are designed to boost and maintain water pressure in clean (potable) water systems across domestic, commercial and industrial applications. Engineered for reliability and efficiency, AV sets provide stable pressure control under varying demand conditions.
Each booster set utilises variable speed drive (VSD) control, allowing the pumps to automatically adjust speed to match system requirements. This ensures consistent outlet pressure, reduces energy consumption and minimises pump wear by avoiding unnecessary starts and stops.
AV Pressure Booster Sets are supplied as fully packaged, multi-pump systems, mounted on a common base frame with suction and discharge manifolds, valves, pressure instrumentation and a dedicated control panel.

Design & Operation
AV booster sets incorporate multiple identical pumps operating in parallel, controlled via variable speed drives. The system uses integrated pressure vessels to supply initial demand, with pumps ramping up gradually as demand increases.
As demand reduces, pump speeds are reduced automatically, with the system shutting down once the pressure vessels are recharged. Duty rotation is managed electronically to ensure even wear across all pumps.
